Asleep: In the arms of morpheus

I had no worries, nor was I running late

All my debts called off,

No sirens were wailing

Neither a person so.

…………………………..

Because when we are asleep, the world feels like such a perfect place! :’)

Note:
in the arms of Morpheus is an idiom, meaning asleep.
Morpheus, son of Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep,
was the god of dreams. He lent his name to
morphine and to the pretentiously classical allusion
“in the arms of Morpheus.”
